loving and tolerating because of a cartoon is stupid
love and tolerate because you aren’t a terrible person
Sometimes people come to realize that they should change on their own.
But more often, it takes an external stimulus (like a cartoon) to show them how they were really acting, and to make them want to change.
True, but in that case they are still doing it based on what they think is right.
What I believe is silly is acting decently only because you want to be more “pony-like” or something like that, essentially changing who you are over something completely arbitrary.
And even then, it isn’t a bad thing. Silly, yes, but a good person is a good person is a good person. It does not matter why you are acting like a decent human being as long as you’re not cheating yourself.
I guess the original post doesn’t fully line up with my personal sentiments on this subject…
